Villanova Hockey Recruiting: Meet with the Wildcats' 2013 School

Following a powerful recruiting course that included Ryan Arcidiacono last season, Jay Wright has had in only several employees in this season to include depth to his small squad. The Wildcats will have two juniors, two seniors and two sophomores that will be donors on an every day basis. With that at heart, the Wildcats didn't need to hire a celebrity that will affect their system, but they did need to incorporate some depth to the squad and they did just that with their 2013 recruiting class. Listed here is a look at the two employees which have signed with Villanova so far. Kris Jenkins, PF Photo Thanks to washingtonpost.com Jenkins committed to Villanova back in August (via Washington Post). By choosing the Big Five school, the 6'5" forward from Gonzaga College High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, made it clear that he will compete for a spot in the starting lineup. Jenkins is a powerful rebounder but it isn't likely that he'll move in to the center part that was vacated by Mouphtaou Yarou. It is probably that Jenkins could move to the little forward position and allow JayVaughn Pinkston, who is two inches higher compared to the incoming freshman, move inside to the ability forward position while Daniel Ochefu will start at center. Jenkins' not enough size may influence him in a variety of ways in the brand new Big East Conference against powerful big men which are much higher than him. The Maryland indigenous can also be in a position to score, an expertise he showed off in his junior year by averaging 20.4 points per game. Josh Hart, SF Photograph Due to washingtonpost.com The 2nd forward is from the Washington D.C. City area and will be heading up I-95 to perform at Villanova next season will be Josh Hart. Just like Jenkins, the four-star sponsor from Sidwell Friends, D.C. Devoted to Villanova in August (via CBSSports.com). The one matter about Hart that stands apart very nearly immediately is his lack of measurement at 6'4", 190. Hart must wear some weight entering his freshman season to get ready for the rigors of the Big East. a scrappy player whose engine does not end before the final whistle is blown Hart is known. If he desires to continue his present style of play, which will suit the Big East quite effectively, Hart will have to bulk up to 200 or 210 pounds. Hart's targets won't be astronomically large but he'll be expected to lead on both ends of the court away from the table. What's Left for the Wildcats Based on ESPN, there are three recruits that are still considering Villanova but they have not signed with the Wildcats or with every other system for enough time being.
