His contract ends at the end of next period, leaving Dortmund in the unenviable position of being forced to decide whether to cash in this summer of risk seeing the 24-year-old keep on a totally free in 2014. Both Manchester United and Dortmund's Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich have now been firmly linked with the Pole. Studies in Germany today suggest they have opted for the former with the player's representative Maik Barthel indicating Dortmund have endorsed his starting. "We have reached an agreement with a team and mean (him) to move this summer," Barthel told Sport Bild. "There is just a very interesting present for Robert which fulfils fully the demands set by Dortmund and also the demands of Robert. "Dortmund have assured us that Robert can go by the end of the growing season under these conditions. "We adhere to agreements and now it's as much as the clubs to sort things out."
