Ohio State Spring Game 2013: Red-White Team Analysis

Really the only true position battle on the offensive side of the ball right now would be at right tackle. Every other spot has either a starter returning or somebody who is highly considered the favorite to land the starting job. At right tackle, however, it has remained a battle between both Taylor Decker and Chase Farris.

In fact, head coach Urban Meyer was recently asked who the starter would be if there was a real game tomorrow, and he couldn't answer the question, according to Tim May of Buckeye Extra.

With spring practice coming to a close and nobody really separating themselves from the pack, this is clearly the position you want to keep an eye on the most when watching the offensive side of the ball.

Other things to watch offensively, of course, include the development of quarterback Braxton Miller, as he is now in his second season in the this system and has had a full offseason to work with the coaching staff.

It will also be entertaining when checking out both Bri'onte Dunn and Warren Ball at the running back position. Rod Smith will not participate in the game and Carlos Hyde should be limited as well. It will be interesting to see what both of these runners can accomplish, particularly in the passing game as the playbook opens up a bit.
