WWE: SmackDown May be the Wrestling Show, Organic Is Just a Mess

I took the subject from one of my readers who made that comment on my last report. Thanks, Matt Medina. Perfect sense is made by it. While three hours of Monday Night Raw was once thought of as a great idea, and admittedly, I was as a lover meeting Taryn Terrell (sorry,AWWE) as enthusiastic, lately,Ait has really fallen down and left me empty inside. The product is just a combination of a Pollack painting and my six-year-old's art. It is superstar-heavy, never truly makes a point (unless it is the afternoon after WrestleMania and you're at the Izod Center). Some visitors might say I'm bitter. I'd say I'm telling the reality. Either way, the point is madea'the WWE has its shows confused, putting the Raw program out front with its clamor (or slamor) for ratings and its need certainly to jump out after a pay-per-view to try to make a point or correct any errors from the previous evening. If you'd like a show of "wrestling" as it appears on the marquee, then Wednesday's Main Event and SmackDown are truer judges of the product Vince McMahon is trying to offer. The uneven programing of the company and the end of "branding" have also led to this. Think about what may happen, if the WWE ever really assembled a group of authors have been in keeping with their premise. As that's why I appreciate the occasions of Dusty Rhodes in the NWA, Eddie Graham in Florida, Eric Embry in Texas and Don Owens in Portland, a side note. Actually Jerry Lawler and Jerry Jarrett in Memphis were good scriptwriters. As it is a good show the idea of Daniel Bryan wrestling Ryback or The Undertaker in a with Dean Ambrose or Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio in a makes my mouth water. However, it's become a level greater show on Friday nights, that is not good because a large amount of the audience is going having a great time, not glued to the television. Perhaps the business have to do more using its figures in terms of storylines. Articles fromAWrestleZone.com talks about the Way The Undertaker is having surgery and will be out of motion for some time, but will not only be at WrestleMania XXX, but also has some ideas about who he desires to take a match with. That's more about planning than whatever else. The WWE may use the (I hate to state this) Eric Bischoff type of arranging a system from ending to finish and then producing effects. While Bischoff was good at telling a tale, he was horrible at building a business. Kane, Rhodes and maybe even JBL will be good choices in piecing together more meaningful storylines. And if that fails, I know a specific writer who'd love a crack at trying to come up with several aspects that mean something. Until there's a remedy for this condition, there will be much more frustration and the merchandise will suffer.
