DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) a Danica Patrick has made more history at Daytona International Speedway. Patrick became the very first person to lead a lap in the popular Daytona 500 on Sunday. She brought two laps a' Nos. 90 and 91. Supporters were on their legs as Patrick beat Michael Waltrip to leading of the area on a restart. The 200-lap race was started by patrick on the rod after getting the first woman to qualify in the top position. She failed to cause the first lap, however, falling behind three-time competition winner Jeff Gordon. None the less, it was a big moment for NASCAR and Patrick. Patrick also made history as an IndyCar driver. She light emitting diode 19 laps as a novice in the 2005 Indianapolis 500, getting the initial woman to lead open-wheel racing's initial event. She finished fourth.
